We offer structured mentorship and focused support designed to address the unique needs of young women of color.

Monica Britton-West and my daughter, Lauren Renee Jackson met in the year 2007 during Lauren’s 2nd year of college where she attended Seton Hall University. They were introduced to each other through the Collegiate Ministry at our church. Monica was assigned to Lauren as her mentor and they have been together ever since. Monica has been there for Lauren in so many ways; as a mentor, big sister, best friend, supporter, and family. Their relationship has blossomed and grown no matter where they have relocated to. They have stayed connected. Monica has supported Lauren in her Girls Mentorship program, IMANEE (Instilling My Ability to Naturally Embrace Excellence) for more than ten years. Monica and Lauren, may your relationship/sisterhood continue to flourish and persevere in any situation. Continue to be role models not just for young women, but for all women. God bless you both."

Some of who & WHAT she is today is because of you! Since she could walk and talk…it has been you for her! I will never forget how whenever we would go to church on Sundays, once we would get seated and situated, she would always ask me if she could go see Ms. Monica and I would tell her yes (understanding that if I did not say yes, she would not take that sitting down 😂).
Who knew, that after several years of Jada spending just a few moments every Sunday in your office with you at church, that you would become a lifelong Friend to us and eventually Jada’s Sorority Sister when she became an adult! It is because of you and what Jada saw in you since she was a little girl that she would become a FINER WOMAN and member of one of the greatest sororities that there is, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.
Monica, I will be both forever Thankful & Grateful for you being a part our Village. You have played a major role in my family’s life and I want you to know that we love and appreciate you so much."
